Previously a limited-edition release in their Iberian Series, the Redbreast PX Edition is now a permanent addition to the Redbreast portfolio from Midleton Distillery. Initially matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-Oloroso sherry casks, it is then treated to a finish in ex-Pedro Ximénez hogsheads.

Nose: The nose is soft and inviting, featuring notes of creamy vanilla, caramel, aged leather, a variety of nuts, and dried fruits. As it evolves, hints of toasted oak and nougat emerge, evoking the essence of a leisurely summer afternoon.

Taste: A full-bodied experience complemented by a creamy mouthfeel. It features notes of caramel, leather, and white pepper, alongside effervescent hints of red berries and oranges. Additionally, nuances of nuts and pencil shavings contribute to its complexity.

Finish: The finish is medium-long, characterized by a rich creaminess and deep sweetness. The caramel notes are complemented by hints of heather honey, while dried fruits create a charming background presence.
