Nose: If this dram is a season it is Mid-Autumn. Warm, softly earthy. Dry leaves, sun warmed and toasted oak, and ripe orchard fruits and red berries. With time I also pick up vanilla, floral honey, beeswax and dusty cinnamon sticks.

Taste: Rich and elegant in style. White pepper, honey and ripe apples. Sweet, red berries. Frappuccino.

Finish: Medium to long finish. Lighter, even more fruity and also sweeter on the finish. Milk chocolate, vanilla ice cream and strawberry foam. Hints of citrus as well.

Comment: What’s not to love about the whole Redbreast range. Dee-lite!
