Initially matured in an unspecified cask for 10 years, then finished for six months in a n ex-sherry octave (cask #8330266). A total of 97 bottles was the result. An Octave is 1/8 butt, so 50-60 litres all in all.

Nose: Deep and sweet fruitiness. Hints of toasted oak and dried fruits. The barest whiff of rubber.

Taste: Very rich and full bodied. Sharply spicy upfront, then more fruity, but not a whole lot of sweetness.

Finish: Medium to short finish. Sweeter towards the end, but it is an odd sweetness, and the sharp edges remain.

Comment: A sharpish Miltonduff.
