This is the 20214 edition of the Longrow 18 YO from Springbank Distillery in Campbeltown. The cask combination for this release is 90% ex-sherry cask, and 10% ex-port cask.

The Longrow 18 YO will be available to buy in Norway starting November 13 at NOK 1799 (20042201).

Nose: Tropical fruit trees smouldering in the distance. Vanilla and black wood smoke intertwine with a hint of farmyard funk, deepening into chocolate and a trace of cut grass over time.

Taste: Medium bodied. Fruity and smoky in equal measure—orchard fruits meet cacao nibs, dark chocolate and toasted oak.

Finish: Medium long. The smoke softens, revealing nuts, malt, more chocolate and a final dusting of earthy cinnamon.

Comment: Smoky with rustic charm.
