This is a single cask release from independent bottlers Wemyss Malts. The Linkwood 2000 19 YO Gardeners' Biscuit Break was matured in a single 500 litre American oak sherry butt, and bottled in 2018. The total outturn was 726 bottles.

The Linkwood 2000 18 YO Gardeners' Biscuit Break goes on sale in Norway on June 4 at NOK 1170 per bottle (1751501).

Nose: Biscuits, certainly. Pepper, ginger and cinnamon. Hints of tobacco and dust. Soft fruitiness in the background.

Taste: Medium body. Pepper and caramel. Hints of perfume. Cardboard, biscuits, cinnamon, and ginger soda.

Finish: Medium long finish. The ginger is now more pronounced, as well as the biscuits. Rose water in the end.

Comment: The name is spot on.
