This is a very old, single cask, Petite Champagne Cognac from Jean-Luc Pasquet. It was distilled back in 1962 and bottled Februar 2021, at cask strength. It is limited to 377 bottles.

Nose: Very soft and delicate. Mild caramel and chocolate swirls. Fluffy clouds of goodness. Cotton candy in the background. Surprisingly light and fresh. Not heavy and oaky at all. Hints of red berries and citrus. Keeps developing for ages. Delightful.

Taste: Medium body. Dry. Red berries, and wet leaves. An Autumnal Cognac for sure. Not at all sweet at first. Relatively green actually. And light. And fresh yet old - rejuvenated?

Finish: Long finish. Very delicate again. Hard to pick out and name the nuances, but they are there, flitting away just out of reach, and ever changing. Fruity - well red berries and possibly peaches - yes. Softly spicy yes. Mild oakiness in the end.

Comment: Amazeballs! Love this Cognac!
