Here is a fresh hand-filled distillery exclusive from Lagg. Matured for five years in a 2nd fill ex-sherry hogshead (cask LG19/0750).

Nose: Rich malt leads, followed by bold peat and ripe fruit. Green herbal notes and cut grass develop with time, alongside unsalted peanuts and marshmallows roasting over an open fire.

Taste: Full bodied and unapologetically intense. A true wake-up call of peat, fruit and fresh green notes, delivered with force and clarity.

Finish: Medium long. Peppery, peaty and fruity, turning juicy and creamy as it settles. Deeply rich to the last.

Comment: Big, bold and seriously fun.
