Kilkerran Heavily Peated Batch 8, NAS, 58.4 %

Matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks. Bottled 2023-03-09.

Will be available in Norway starting September 14 at NOK 1059 (15931801).

Nose: A refreshing and crisp start, with an unmistakable heavy peat character, rounded off by the juiciness of ripe red apples.

Taste: A full-bodied experience, decidedly drier and spicier than its predecessor, batch 7.

Finish: Holding its own with a medium length, it fires on all fronts. A unique blend of effervescence and dryness envelops the palate.

Comment: A spirited rendition.
