Nose: Orchard fruits, rowan berries and rhubarb, joined by earthy vanilla, cinnamon and freshly turned black soil. With time, simple syrup adds sweetness alongside increasingly vegetal notes.
Taste: Full bodied. Bigger and bolder than the two components individually, with richer fruitiness and spiciness playing across a wider register. Somewhat more oaky in character as well.
Finish: Medium long. Soft oakiness persists, accompanied by peppermint, cinnamon, ginger and rhubarb. Mildly bitter and briny towards the end.
Comment: Bigger, bolder and intriguingly earthy.
