Isle of Lime Ullahau

Isle of Lime Ullahau, 3 YO, 46.2 %

Matured in a combination of American oak, ex-sherry and ex-bourbon. Limited to 8100 bottles. See the official product page for more info.

Released back in 2020, this was the fourth official release from Isle of Lime. Somehow I missed it back then, but here is my review - finally!

Nose: A gentle introduction of light and fruity notes. A sun-dried medley of fruits playing alongside their tropical counterparts. As moments pass, hints of citrus and soft vanilla join the aromatic party.

Taste: A medium embrace that's sprinkled with white pepper, yet dominated by ripe orchard fruits. The backdrop is painted with a gentle floral honey and touches of green herbs.

Finish: Medium to short finish. It carries forward the light, pure, and sweet fruitiness experienced earlier.

Comment: Isle of Lime delivers yet again.
