A special release for Norway to kick off the relaunch of the core range Glenfarclas 15 YO. Jon, the importer and allround whisky guru, decided to go for a more sherried version here.

You can buy the Glenfarclas 15 YO Jons Utvalgte in Norway at NOK 1150 (14777301), starting this coming Thursday.

Nose: Mild and a little shy at first. Caramel and leather. Dried fruits and vanilla. Some orchard fruits and green notes with time.

Taste: Medium body. On the sweet side. Caramel and dried fruits. Cinnamon and hints of ginger. The influence from the sherry casks dominates more and more.

Finish: Medium long. Leather, caramel, fizzy ginger. Cinnamon and more dried fruits.

Comment: Sugar and spice and everything nice.
