Distilled 1990, matured in a single ex-bourbon hogshead, and bottled April 2012. Limited to 258 bottles.

Nose: Light fruitiness with darker undertones of leather, spices, toasted oak and shoe polish. With time, brighter citrus and creamy maltiness add contrast and depth.

Taste: Full bodied. Fruit, floral notes, mild spices and soft oakiness mingle effortlessly. A second wave brings a more pronounced peppery character.

Finish: Medium to long. Sweet licorice and white pepper lead into earthy cinnamon and vanilla stick. A mild floral note lingers at the end.

Comment: Light fruit with darker complexity.
