This is a single cask release from the Glencadam Distillery. The Glencadam 1999 Single Cask #3122 was distilled on 1999-12-10, matured in a bourbon barrel (cask #3122), and bottled in May 2019. The total outturn was 238 bottles.

The Glencadam 1999 Single Cask #3122 goes on sale in Norway on June 4 at NOK 2252 (1970801).

Nose: Hmm.. not very smooth at first sniff. Sharp edges, unbalanced? No off notes though. Dry and oaky. Mild fruitiness - memories of tropical fruits. Cinnamon and nuts.

Taste: Medium body and unusually smooth mouthfeel. Overripe fruit - mainly banana and mango. Juicy pineapple. Coconut milk. A lot of tropical fruits here. Ginger and cinnamon.

Finish: Medium long finish. The same rich fruitiness continues all the way through. It does take on artificial sweetener notes towards the end.

Comment: Interesting dram.
