This is a single cask release from GlenAllachie exclusively selected by and bottled for Norwegian whisky clubs by Malt Whisky Norefjell. Distilled 2013-09-02, matured in a single 1st fill ex-Oloroso sherry hogshead (cask #8429), and bottled in February 2026. Limited to 352 (actually 348) bottles.

The front label also reads “Kjærlighet, vennskap, fellesskap. Til norske whiskyklubber” (“Love, friendship and fellowship. To Norwegian whisky clubs.”)

The GlenAllachie 2013 12 YO Single Cask #8429 is only available to order through Arnfinn @ Malt Whisky Norefjell, and the price is NOK 1650.

Nose: A full-on sherry bomb. Bold and unapologetic with waves of dried fruits; dates, prunes and raisins. Then juicier tones of cherry and cold glühwein. Christmas spices build, followed by increasingly rich red berries and chocolate.

Taste: Full bodied, rich and layered. Deep sweetness with chewy demerara sugar and dense dried fruits. Apricots lift the profile, while raisins, prunes and plums remain. Floral honey adds softness before dark chocolate arrives with a peppery edge.

Finish: Medium to long. Slightly dry with white pepper, earthy cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves. A fizzy sugary note appears alongside milk chocolate and a touch of mint at the end.

Comment: A bold and festive sherry bomb.
