Distilled 2009-03-18, matured in a single ex-Sauternes hogshead (cask #3721), and bottled in February 2025. Limited to 302 bottles.

Nose: Rowanberries and oak lead with a slightly sour, bitter edge. Vanilla and gentle fruity sweetness emerge to soften the tone.

Taste: Full bodied and a touch raw. Bitter-tinged oak and wet planks frame the tart rowanberry character. Orchard fruits in the background.

Finish: Medium long. A hint of chocolate appears, mingling oddly with overripe grapes for a curious finale.

Comment: Tart and woody.
