Independent bottler Adelphi brings us this expression of Dailuaine. Distilled 2015, matured in a single 1st fill ex-Pedro Ximénez sherry hogshead (cask #300973), bottled 2025, and limited to 290 bottles.

Nose: Rich and inviting with figs, dates and demerara sugar. Gentle vanilla, mild oak and a nutty undertone add depth and warmth.

Taste: Full bodied, deeply sweet and opulent. Raisins and figs dominate, softened by delicate hints of pepper and leather.

Finish: Medium to long finish. More of the darker tones; mainly leather, chocolate and raisins. Nuts and lingering vanilla in the end.

Comment: Dark sweetness.
