Nose: Super complex and rich, love at first sniff! Deep fruitiness (light notes of orchard fruits), and fluffy sweet wood smoke. Multi-faceted vanilla - just brainstorm any possible positive association you might get on vanilla. The peat level feels medium to heavy, but is still gentle.

Taste: Buttery, rich and full-bodied. Coconut and milk chocolate (hey, it's Bounty again!). Butterscotch and sweet wood smoke. Unsalted peanuts. Ginger soda.

Finish: Medium to long finish. Continues much as it started. There is an added element of soot and salt towards the end. The delicate chocolate notes remain throughout.

Comments: This is one of the Shinjuku skyscrapers of young whisky! It is modern, vibrant and colourful. I am amazed. A thoroughly well-crafted whisky that at no point reveals its young age.
