Nose: Rich, sweet and earthy. Big and bold in an appealing fashion. Sugary sweet, with notes of both rum and post wine. A thin veil of sweet smoke that gradually becomes more distinct. Somewhat floral, but not as much as one might expect from a Bowmore (thankfully, in my honest opinion - as I am not all that big on floral whiskies). The port and peat really does balance each other perfectly here.

Taste: Very rich and full-bodied.  Deep notes of red berries, rich and sweet smokiness. Marzipan with a hint of mint - or maybe even grass. Christmas marzipan pig! Memories of sea salt, rose water and perfume in the back.

Finish: A long and delightful finish. The deep and rich sweetness prevails. Berries, marshmallows, and a hint of dunnage warehouses.

Comments: Port and peat is a killer combo, when it comes together like this!
