This is the 3rd annual release of this expression from Alberta Distillers Ltd, Calgary, Canada. It was released in 2021, and is made using 100 % rye.

Alberta Distillers was established back in 1946, and are well known for their quality rye whisky.

Nose: Mild and well integrated. No alcohol bite to worry about. It is clean and pure like a mountain lake. Somewhat sweet but not too much. Vanilla. cinnamon and mild oakiness.

Taste: Full bodied, well structured and balanced. The palate matches the nose. We have creamy vanilla, black pepper, ginger, cinnamon, and some oakiness.

Finish: Medium to long finish. Creamy vanilla, fizzy ginger, maple syrup and both black and white pepper now. Sugary sweet with hints of mint on the finish line.

Comment: I highly recommend this experience!
