This whisky was distilled 2002-12-13, and bottled 2020. Limited to 6003 bottles.

Initially matured for 15 years in ex-bourbon casks, then finished for around 2 years in French Pinot Noir casks.

Nose: Crisper, fresher and with a fruitiness that is more insistent than on the core range products. The oak is noticeable but pleasant. With time more and more green, herbal notes.

Taste: Full bodied. Spicy and tannic. Massive green notes. Very odd. White pepper. Grape-ish.

Finish: Medium to short finish. It just stops dead in its tracks. Herbal chewing gum. Dry. Cut grass. Juicy fruitiness right at the end - too little too late.

Comment: Stranger in a strange land.
