The Bruichladdich Islay Barley 2010 was, as the name indicates distilled in 2010. It has been fully matured in ex-bourbon barrels and French wine casks, and was bottled on 2017-01-28.

A few bottles remain available to buy in Norway at NOK 810 (1638901).

Nose: Sweet barley, malt sugar, cereal and vanilla. Light and fluffy in style. Mild spices. Lemon drops and hints of grapefruit.

Taste: Rich and full bodied. Creamy and malty character. Apples and vanilla now. Some white pepper.

Finish: Medium long finish. Warming. A green touch towards the end.

Comment: Great malty character on this dram.
