Produced by Berta Distillerie in Piedmonte, Italy, using 100 % Moscato grapes. Distilled in 2013, aged for 8 years in new French oak barrels, and bottled in 2021.

The Berta Bric del Gaian Grappa Invecchiata 2013 goes on sale in Norway on May 31 at NOK 1300 (13163301).

Nose: Fermented grapes, vanilla, red berries, and soft herbal notes. With time ever more delicate. Vanilla and berry harmonies. Hints of nuts as well.

Taste: Medium body. Creamy, with lots of red berries. Also slightly bitter rowanberries. Hints of leather and tobacco.

Finish: Medium long finish. Sweeter and sweeter now. Vanilla, almond milk and almond paste.

Comment: A delightful grappa.
