Another single cask, distillery exclusive from Fary Lochan Distillery in Denmark. Distilled 2013-05-05, matured in a single cask (cask #2013-08), and bottled 2019-08-07. It was limited to 475 miniature bottles (5 cl) + 388 larger bottles (50 cl). This whisky is a variant of the “Sommer” recipe, and is an unpeated whisky.

Nose: Clean and crisp notes of vanilla, sun-warmed oak and cold-brewed coffee. With time apple, orange zest and cut grass.

Taste: Medium body. Peppery coffee beans and cocoa nibs. Leather. Creamy vanilla.

Finish: Medium long finish. The creamy vanilla is even creamier now. The coffee note is less peppery but still very much present. Hints of green herbs in the end.

Comment: This is a delight!
