The Arran 14 YO is part of the core range from Isle of Arran Distillers. It was first launched back in 2010.

This whisky has been matured for an initial 12 years in bourbon barrels. Then it has received a 2 year finish in a mix of 1st fill bourbon barrels and 1st fill sherry hogsheads.

You can buy a bottle of the Arran 14 YO in Norway at NOK 589 (5285601) after the re-launch on Friday November 3, 2017. In Sweden you can pick up a bottle at SEK 589 (8588501).

Nose: Rich fruitiness with depth. Nice maltiness. Vanilla and other light and sweet aromas. Apples and peaches.

Taste: Quite rich and creamy on the palate. Again apples and peaches. White pepper, and then a little more pepper.

Finish: Medium long finish. Creamy and spicy with apples and light honey all the way.

Comments: A very fresh, fruity and appealing dram.
