One of the younger expressions from Old Pulteney. This is an annual release, always matured in ex-bourbon casks. This is the 2022 expression in the series.

This whisky goes on sale in Norway this coming week at NOK 759 (1380410).

Nose: Maritime and fruity, so typical Old Pulteney. Toasted oak, vanilla and chocolate with time.

Taste: Medium body. Dark chocolate with juicy jam filling. Oranges and creamy vanilla. Softly floral.

Finish: Medium long finish. More dark chocolate. More citrus notes. A pinch of salt.

Comment: Simple and appealing - a dessert whisky.
