Another distillery exclusive, hand bottled at the distillery. The Old Pulteney 1997 19 YO cask #1522 was distilled 1997-12-08, matured in a bourbon cask, and bottled sometime in 2017.

Nose: Delicate notes of red berries, grapes and vanilla ice cream. With time green apples, citrus. Hints of salt and green herbs. Toasted oak in the background.

Taste: Full bodied and rather spicy in character. Black and white pepper, even some chili in the mix. Ginger and runny honey. Mild floral notes.

Finish: Long finish. Remains sweet all the way. Green herbs, vanilla, green apples and lime zest.

Comment: A nose as cute as a button, and a very charming palate.
