This is a blended whisky that contains whisky distilled at Mars Shinshu Distillery. It is blended and bottled by Hombo Shuzo, Japan. “Kasei” means “Mars” in Japanese

Nose: Light, fruity and floral. Notes of honey and summer fruits. With time citrus and vanilla.

Taste: Rather light body. The palate mirrors the nose pretty closely; light, sweet, fruity and floral. Ripe apple, sweet pear, honey, and ginger soda.

Finish: Rather short. It fades away fairly quickly, offering little new on the finish.

Comment: An OK blend - nothing more and nothing less.
