The High Coast Dálvve Sherry Influence sold at SEK 499, but appears to be sold out. See also my review of the regular Dálvve, without the sherry influence.

Nose: Oh, love the fluffy light sherry influence here. Whiffs of smoke as well, sure. Chocolate puffs. Dried fruits, almonds and hints of toasted oak. With time a mild, sweet oakiness.

Taste: Full bodied and creamy mouthfeel. A fair bit of black pepper. Ginger, licorice and menthol.

Finish: Medium long finish. More licorice and aniseed now - as well as hints of herbal honey. Sweet yet not sweet. Barely hints of dried fruits in the end.

Comment: Not a sherry bomb but a darn solid dram.

Score 85/100
