Now this is exciting. Another Glengoyne single cask release exclusively for Norway. Remember when we had the previous Glengoyne single cask for Norway, the Marius cask, about a year ago? That expression was magical. Can this 10 YO hold the same high quality?

I believe the facts for this expression are as follows; matured in a Madeira hogshead (cask #1252), and bottled in July 2019 with an outturn of 323 bottles.

The Glengoyne 10 YO CASK Anniversary will be released for sale in Norway on Friday this week at NOK 1599 (11375801).

Nose: A warm blanket of a dram. Vanilla, caramel, caramel pudding, toffee, butterscotch and nougat. Coffee notes does add a dryer element and keeps the sweetness in check. This is very sniffable!

Taste: Body wise we're talking massive sumo wrestler. Spicy and rich. Pepper, creamy caramel, deep fruitiness, fizzy ginger and cinnamon. Sweet ashes → minus the smoke.

Finish: Medium long finish. Mainly caramel, nougat, dark chocolate, vanilla and cinnamon stick.

Comment: You'll love this punch in the face! I know I do.
