Th Glenfarclas 15 YO is part of the Glenfarclas core range. It has been matured in ex-sherry casks.

The Glenfarclas 15 YO is available in Norway at NOK 970 (5232301), in Sweden at SEK 699 (85587), and in the UK at around GBP 53.

Nose: Soft and fresh notes of summer fruits and dried fruits. Fresh yellow pears, juicy apricots, and raisins soaked in sherry. Deep vanilla notes mixed with caramel and marzipan.

Taste: Medium body. More of the same deep and sweet fruitiness I found on the nose. A bit cooler on the palate perhaps. Also with a touch of mint now.

Finish: Medium long finish. Softly oaky with white pepper and cinnamon skulking around in the back.

Comment: A fine one.
