Here is an independent bottling of Glen Garioch from A.D. Rattray. It was distilled 1988-12-05, and bottled 2015-10-19. A single cask release matured in a bourbon hogshead (cask #5187). A total of 264 bottles were released.

Nose: Faint notes of orchard fruits. Mild oakiness. Almond paste and hints of marzipan. Hint of malt and green herbs. More and more almonds with time.

Taste: Medium to full body. White pepper, almond paste, mild caramel, white chocolate.

Finish: Medium to long finish. Almond milk, white pepper, ginger. Vanilla. Red berries and smooth caramel pudding. Mild oakiness. A soft peppery burn in the end.

Comment: This is one for all the almond lovers out there!
