A Glen Elgin single malt whisky from independent bottler Adelphi. Matured in a single cask (cask #802272). Limited to 290 bottles.

This whisky goes on sale in Norway this coming week at NOK 1506 (15430401).

Nose: Orchard fruits, rowan berries, and creamy vanilla.

Taste: Full bodied. A little dark, a little bitter. Orange zest, ginger, rowan berries, and mild oakiness.

Finish: Medium long finish. Raw-ish, but in an acceptable way if you know what I mean. Otherwise more of the same really. Fruity, fresh and mellow. It does have that little edge to it, though.
