Nose: Very rich and appealing nose. This is a dram you can lose yourself in. A deep and complex sweetness with lots of fruitiness - tropical and citrus like. With time it takes on a mild earthiness, and I find nuts and a hint of oak. Vanilla and mild caramel. A near perfect nose.

Taste: Again rich and complex. The same elegant and rich fruitiness as I found on the nose. Hints of berries and black fruits, black pepper and almonds.

Finish: Very long finish. Some earthiness added now, as on the nose. Wet leaves and mushrooms. The mild spiciness remains. Somewhat dry in the end, but not over-oaked by any means.

Comment: A marvellous cognac.
