This bottling was made for The Nectar and La Maison du Whisky (LMdW); in fact it appears the cask was split between them. Nose: Light whiff of peat. Lovely and delightful notes of dried fruits and hard candy. Eucalyptus in the background.

Taste: Medium body, but very complex. Vanilla, banana, mango, even a hint of grapefruit. Also hints of dried fruits.

Finish: Long finish. More or less the same symphony of fruits. Towards the end some astringency and the whiffs of smoke from the nose make a reappearance.

Comment: This is liquid (subtly smoky) sunshine!

Score 93/100
